Il est désormais possible de modifier un message après l’avoir envoyé. Vous avez 15 minutes pour modifier le message après l’avoir envoyé.
Pour modifier un message, c’est simple. Il suffit d’appuyer longtemps sur le message. Ensuite dans les options, choisir “Modifier“.

Your question is not fully clear to us but as far as we understand, the user has 15 minutes after sending the message to edit it. After 15 minutes, they cannot edit. Also, based on our experience of testing, we have noticed that it is not possible to edit a message sent with an image, a video or a document.
Has the ability to edit messages on WhatsApp been well-received by users?
We believe the feature is been rolled out to all users and an update of the app will all to get the edit option. If you have not yet received it, it is probably coming soon.
